Well the results are in and we placed 4 stores in the top 5 in North America!!
Bell Rd. was #1 once again, with Power Rd. keeping their status at #3, Scottsdale took the #4 slot and Chandler came in 5th position. Simply stellar work keeping our lofty status for 2018.
Our own Linda Jackley was once again crowned Pinnacle Award winner of the Southwest region with over 3 Million in design sales. Linda is well on her way again this year as she is averaging over $300k for the first 3 months of 2019.
The market was so amazing that a quick post will not do it justice. But we will do our best to bring the market to you in the form of our next CKS meeting. I will wet your whistle and give you some of the highlights.
Kristen Bell spoke with enthusiasm about joining us as brand ambassador. She addressed her aligning belief system with our great American company, quality product and with being a “Michigander” like La-Z-Boy. The commercials we saw have her celebrating design and comfort of our product. If you are familiar with Kristen you may know she is married to actor Dak Shepard and he has a podcast that is the top 10 most listened to.
Kristen will list her top picks of product around the showroom, which will give us another point of reference when speaking to our customers.
I will bullet point some product highlights and the notes I took next in no order.
- Paxton sofa- Large scale sofa that comes with all corresponding pieces even a sectional. The minute we saw it Sean Hunter asked me, “How soon can I buy this for myself?” Total Winning Frame!!!
- New Leather coming out that reminded me of the Delvecchio for some of you who have been around awhile. It has more colors then Delvecchio did but with a heavier hand.
- A fabric called Conserve. It is comprised of 35% plastic bottles. One sofa will use 110 water bottles, it’s got a great story and nice texture.
- A new highbacked Duo sofa called Ryder. Customers are always asking for a taller backed sofa and now we have another to show them.
- Numerous inspirational “on trend” fabrics
It was simply the best marker ever and the team put in a ton of changes to our current line-up based on need and opportunity. We will have to get up to speed rather quickly when the product arrives, because everything that was added to our lineup will help improve lives.
Congratulations to stores who were nationally recognized and to the entire system who supports these stores. These wins are company wins and everyone should be enormously proud of our company’s achievements.
